Magic (from the Latin μαγεία, meaning also "magic") is the most ancient form of religious worldview, standing on a par with totemism, animism and fetishism. It can also be said that magic is the science of the connection between various subtle essences, the forces of nature and divine forces, in the case of mastering which a person acquires the ability to control them.
Researchers believe that magic appeared during the Upper Paleolithic period, i.e. 30,000 - 25,000 BC, at first it was not separated from other beliefs and was a natural part of the life of everyone. Any person could independently engage in magical practices known at that time (for example, turn to totems or spirits of nature for help, perform rituals of worship in front of idols or objects that bring good luck in various matters, etc.) And only much later, when a person's connection with the forces of nature began to weaken, knowledge about the magical rites of the ancestors concentrated in the hands of a narrow circle of initiates - shamans, sorcerers and priests. However, at the same time, a considerable number of folk magic rituals from ancient times to the present day have remained freely available.
There are many varieties of magic. It really is. Many researchers at all times have tried to classify magic. For example, James George Fraser (Scotland), an anthropologist, cultural scientist who studied folklore and the history of religion, in his 12-volume work "The Golden Bough" divides primitive magic into two types:
- Sympathetic (imitative, simile), guided in rituals by the principle of similarity and similarity. For example, in Voodoo practices, dolls are used to symbolize a person who is being harmed. The natives of Australia, wanting to make it rain, throw fluff resembling clouds, spray water (symbol of raindrops), etc .;
- Contagious (from Lat. Contagiosus - "contagious when touched"), which is based on the idea of maintaining the connection between objects that have ever touched or made up one whole. For example, in the magical practices of many peoples, there are rituals of burning or burying hair, nails, various secretions (for example, saliva) or clothes of a person on whom a magical effect is made. Moscow scientist-ethnographer, historian who researched religious beliefs Sergei Aleksandrovich Tokarev adds the following types of primitive magic to this classification:
- Contact magic - involves the transfer of magical power through interaction with the magician (wearing amulets and talismans, using slated water, etc.);
- Transmissive (initial, inception) magic - provides for the sorcerer to perform only initial manipulations (for example, pronouncing a curse), the very action is performed by magical power without the direct participation of the magician. There are also several grades of magic these days. In particular, the following types are distinguished:
- Black magic - characterized by the direction of influence on the commission of destructive acts that bring evil both to the people around them and to the magician himself;
- Gray magic - aimed at doing good deeds;
- White magic - any magical action in this type of magic is aimed at achieving harmonious merging with the world and receiving instructions from the highest light spirits and deities (in some cases, this type of influence is called Ceremonial magic, a subspecies of which is Enochian magic).
In addition, magic is distinguished:
- Love - aimed at harmonizing (or breaking) the relationship between lovers or spouses;
- Healing - aimed at healing the physical and mental ailments of not only people, but also animals;
- Green - associated with the use of the power of plants in magical techniques;
- Pagan - during rituals, the magician turns to the deities of the pagan pantheon;
- Christian - for rituals, various attributes of Christianity are used (icons, crosses, candles, incense, holy water), prayers are read to Christian saints;
- Mental - involving the performance of any rituals exclusively by the power of thought, without turning to deities, spirits, etc.;
- The magic of money - aimed at increasing material well-being;
- Animagia - characterized by the ability (most often congenital) to transform into animals;
- Intuitive - an innate ability for magical effects, which manifests itself most often spontaneously, at the time of strong emotional stress (stress, outburst of rage or fear, etc.).
The high qualifications of the magician will be proved by various diplomas. First, it should be remembered that in Russia and the CIS countries, there are no state higher educational institutions that produce certified specialist magicians. Secondly, the presence or absence of a diploma, as well as a list of other regalia, can say little about the qualifications of a magician. Of course, in magic there is a certain internal hierarchy, however, it is quite difficult for an uninitiated person to understand it and immediately determine at which step of the indicated hierarchical ladder this or that magician is.
If you have already come to a consultation with a magician, you need to agree to everything and believe everything that you hear. Not always. The first thing a visitor should pay attention to is whether they are putting any pressure on him (covertly or explicitly), whether they are trying to intimidate (for example, by stories that some of the relatives or the client himself is in danger in the near future) ). If the mentioned methods of influence take place, you should not agree to any conditions of the magician, and you need to try to interrupt communication with him as soon as possible and leave, since, most likely, in front of you is a charlatan who thinks only about his own profit.
Some sorcerers can receive almost around the clock. Completely wrong opinion! Engaging in magic requires the expenditure of a considerable amount of strength (both emotional and physical), for the subsequent replenishment of which the magician takes time. Therefore, if the information about the services of a magician indicates that services are provided daily from morning to evening, most likely it is either a "magic salon", where several specialists conduct the reception in shifts, or about a person who provides the service only partially (as a result either does not appear at all, or disappears very quickly). There are also cases when, according to the above schedule, the reception of visitors is carried out simply by a good psychologist who knows how to show a person a way to solve a particular situation, but who does not understand at all about magical influences.
To check the professionalism of the magician, it is enough to ask him a few simple questions at a personal meeting (for example, what is my wife's name, what brand is my car, how many children I have, what is the name of my pet, etc.). If the answers are correct, we have a good specialist in front of us. This is not entirely true. If a person answers such questions correctly, most likely you have a good psychic in front of you, i.e. a person with supersensible perception, able to read information from the client about the events that happened to him. However, this does not mean at all that this person has the experience of transforming certain events and can affect reality or save the client from negative energy impact. Therefore, the above criterion is by no means the main one in determining the qualifications of a magician. In the process of working with a client, the magician receives certain information necessary for the successful completion of the impact he has begun, however, most often this knowledge is quite specific and has nothing to do with the realities of the physical world that are significant for uninformed people (for example, the color of the car or the size of the clothes of a hostile person). ...
To distinguish a magician from a charlatan, you can look on the Internet for corresponding lists of "fake" magicians. These lists do exist in considerable numbers. However, it should be borne in mind that sites providing information of this kind lead a person to the fact that he asks the question: "Who is the real magician?" You can get an answer to it right there, on the site, and in the overwhelming majority of cases the searcher is directed to a charlatan who is in collusion with the authors of the site. As a result, the unlucky seeker loses both money and confidence in specialists in this field. However, there are several signs that can help determine who is in front of you - a specialist or a charlatan. The first thing to pay attention to: a list of conditions under which the magician will agree to do business with you (the most experienced specialists will confine themselves to asking you for a photo, which can determine the essence of the problem - you will only have to clarify the details). Further - the terms of payment (a long-time practicing magician for his services will most likely ask for a rather large amount, which you can transfer either in person or by bank transfer, but hardly in the form of electronic money). It should also be borne in mind that if magicians who are already well versed in their field create a website on the Internet, most often they do not skimp on its decent design, since they do not feel a shortage of money.
There are many positive reviews about good magicians on the Internet. Not necessary. After all, magical assistance is a secret matter, and if a person gets what he wants through the mentioned influence, then most likely he will not advertise it. And even if there are thanks, they will be very short and without a description of the essence of the problem solved.
The best magicians live in the countryside and do not use the benefits of civilization (and even less the Internet). Therefore, you should not look for a good magician on the Internet. Nowadays, there are practically no villages left in which all the benefits of civilization (electricity, TV, telephone, radio, etc.) are completely absent. Therefore, magicians, even experienced ones and living in villages, do not refuse these benefits, and those who are younger also use the Internet.
For magical help, it is best to turn to "grandmothers", wise experience. For example, a person with a very active sexual energy can effectively perform love magic. However, after menopause, the aforementioned energy gradually loses its activity, therefore it is better to use the services of young magicians.
It is best to turn to a magician who lives as a hermit and is practically unknown to anyone - most likely, he has the greatest power. The fact is that a magician who minimizes contacts with society most often really has great power, but he may simply not be tuned in to magical help to others. Therefore, even if, despite all the obstacles, you get to him, the magician can either ask for such a sum for his work that you cannot collect even in several years, or simply refuse to provide any services. It should be borne in mind that an invasion of the personal space of a magician who does not want to communicate with the outside world is fraught with rather unpleasant consequences for the health, and even the life of the intruder. Therefore, it is best to contact specialists who are open to communication (usually there is a rumor about such people and make an appointment with them ahead of time - several months, or even years).
Since magic is a gift from God, the services of real sorcerers should not be paid. Misconception. Magic has nothing to do with the Christian religion, and in the belief system to which it belongs, payment for services is not only permissible, but, in some cases, is simply mandatory. And whether to take money from a person or not - this question is decided by the magician himself. Moreover, most often the factor of the customer's guilt in the situation that will be resolved through the use of magical techniques is taken into account. If a person has suffered undeservedly, they may not take not a penny from him, but if he himself is guilty that the circumstances have developed this way, and not otherwise, most likely, he will be shown a certain amount (the amount of which depends on the severity of the offense committed by the person). In this case, the magician takes into account many other factors (for example, the amount of the visitor's income).
Most often, magicians provide consulting services free of charge. Sometimes this really happens, but it should be remembered that free consultations most often indicate a not entirely honest specialist who plans to give a person such information (possibly very frightening) about him or his relatives during communication that he will be ready to shell out a tidy sum for the subsequent the relief from trouble that the magician naturally promises. True magicians do not consult for free - after all, even during superficial communication, the specialist interacts with the client, the exchange of information that changes the person and the circumstances of his life. Impact of this kind (in the process of which the magician spends some of his own strength), of course, should be paid.
The magician's duty is to help others. No, this duty is not included in the set of rules according to which magicians build their lives. Therefore, it is only the practitioner who decides whether to help or not, and in what form to provide assistance.
Magic is from the Devil, which means that it is sinful to practice magic. From the Christian's point of view, this is true. However, the magicians themselves believe that since they have nothing to do with the Christian religion (and therefore the postulates), practicing magic is not a sin at all. And the practitioners of magic do not position themselves as servants of the Devil for the reason that magic, which appeared long before the emergence of Christianity, turns to other forces (both dark and light) for help.
It is impossible to harm a person through the Internet. Completely erroneous opinion. In some cases, people with the above opinion write insulting letters to magicians, hoping that "they will get nothing for it." In the event that the magician is inexperienced (or not at all an expert in the field of magical influence), such correspondence really will not have any effect on the detractor. But if a person tries to offend a really strong magician, he is unlikely to restrain righteous anger and is quite capable of punishing the offender, having only a sample of the text written by him (even if this text is printed on a computer and sent via the Internet).
The division into black and white magic is wrong. After all, magic is one. From the point of view of philosophy, magic is really one. In practice, however, each practitioner chooses allies from either dark or light spirits. And in order to receive help from them, he builds his life and transforms his worldview in accordance with certain requirements.
Turning to a magician can be dangerous for the client. This is possible if a person turns to a black magician (not burdened with moral rules and many prohibitions) in order to implement any selfish aspiration (for example, wanting to drive the enemy out of the light, take revenge on the offender, bewitch a partner who does not reciprocate, etc.). Firstly, if a person who has suffered from the above negative impact, turn to another magician for the removal of the evil eye, damage or love spell - "rollback" (i.e.the return of the negative to the one who generated it), most likely, will be redirected to the customer (since a professional magician has both the strength and knowledge to protect himself from the opposing force of another specialist). Secondly, in some cases, magicians do not work entirely honestly, and not only fulfill the client's order, but secretly "dump" the energy "garbage" accumulated in the process of magical practice on the aura of the customer (or his relatives). Finally, there is the possibility of the so-called. "connections" - in this case, the magician uses visitors as donors, feeding on their vitality, which he subsequently spends for his own purposes, sometimes having nothing to do with the orders of clients.
For black magicians, life is greatly facilitated by the spirits in their service. Many peoples have the opinion that dark spirits serve sorcerers, witches and magicians, helping them in various everyday and witchcraft affairs. Such helper spirits, called familiars, imps or kurdush, are considered quite intelligent creatures, and most often take the form of an animal or bird (black cat, dog, frog or toad, owl, etc.), and in some cases they resemble humans. ... It is also believed that a magician who has placed a particle of his own soul in a familiar can subsequently use this spirit-servant to heal himself and other people, while avoiding soul burnout (ie, a state of "overload" with other people's problems and their own). However, relationships with creatures of this kind are not as simple and pleasant as it might seem at first glance. Firstly, familiars who have received too much power from the magician and at the same time are developing rapidly can easily seize the initiative in relations with their master. This does not lead to a change of roles (that is, the person does not become a familiar), however, the ability to control the connection with a dark assistant, and interrupt it at his own discretion, the magician may lose. Secondly, familiars do not like to stay idle for a long time and cannot, so magicians have to work hard to come up with more and more new activities for their assistants (who execute any, even the most complex, orders very quickly).
