Magic (from the Latin μαγεία, meaning also "magic") is the most ancient form of religious worldview, standing on a par with totemism, animism and fetishism. It can also be said that magic is the science of the connection between various subtle essences, the forces of nature and divine forces, in the case of mastering which a person acquires the ability to control them.

Researchers believe that magic appeared during the Upper Paleolithic period, i.e. 30,000 - 25,000 BC, at first it was not separated from other beliefs and was a natural part of the life of everyone. Any person could independently engage in magical practices known at that time (for example, turn to totems or spirits of nature for help, perform rituals of worship in front of idols or objects that bring good luck in various matters, etc.) And only much later, when a person's connection with the forces of nature began to weaken, knowledge about the magical rites of the ancestors concentrated in the hands of a narrow circle of initiates - shamans, sorcerers and priests. However, at the same time, a considerable number of folk magic rituals from ancient times to the present day have remained freely available.

There are many varieties of magic. It really is. Many researchers at all times have tried to classify magic. For example, James George Fraser (Scotland), an anthropologist, cultural scientist who studied folklore and the history of religion, in his 12-volume work "The Golden Bough" divides primitive magic into two types:
- Sympathetic (imitative, simile), guided in rituals by the principle of similarity and similarity. For example, in Voodoo practices, dolls are used to symbolize a person who is being harmed. The natives of Australia, wanting to make it rain, throw fluff resembling clouds, spray water (symbol of raindrops), etc .;

- Transmissive (initial, inception) magic - provides for the sorcerer to perform only initial manipulations (for example, pronouncing a curse), the very action is performed by magical power without the direct participation of the magician. There are also several grades of magic these days. In particular, the following types are distinguished:
- Black magic - characterized by the direction of influence on the commission of destructive acts that bring evil both to the people around them and to the magician himself;
- Gray magic - aimed at doing good deeds;
- White magic - any magical action in this type of magic is aimed at achieving harmonious merging with the world and receiving instructions from the highest light spirits and deities (in some cases, this type of influence is called Ceremonial magic, a subspecies of which is Enochian magic).

In addition, magic is distinguished:
- Love - aimed at harmonizing (or breaking) the relationship between lovers or spouses;
- Healing - aimed at healing the physical and mental ailments of not only people, but also animals;
- Green - associated with the use of the power of plants in magical techniques;
- Pagan - during rituals, the magician turns to the deities of the pagan pantheon;
- Christian - for rituals, various attributes of Christianity are used (icons, crosses, candles, incense, holy water), prayers are read to Christian saints;
- Mental - involving the performance of any rituals exclusively by the power of thought, without turning to deities, spirits, etc.;
- The magic of money - aimed at increasing material well-being;
- Animagia - characterized by the ability (most often congenital) to transform into animals;
- Intuitive - an innate ability for magical effects, which manifests itself most often spontaneously, at the time of strong emotional stress (stress, outburst of rage or fear, etc.).

The high qualifications of the magician will be proved by various diplomas. First, it should be remembered that in Russia and the CIS countries, there are no state higher educational institutions that produce certified specialist magicians. Secondly, the presence or absence of a diploma, as well as a list of other regalia, can say little about the qualifications of a magician. Of course, in magic there is a certain internal hierarchy, however, it is quite difficult for an uninitiated person to understand it and immediately determine at which step of the indicated hierarchical ladder this or that magician is.

To check the professionalism of the magician, it is enough to ask him a few simple questions at a personal meeting (for example, what is my wife's name, what brand is my car, how many children I have, what is the name of my pet, etc.). If the answers are correct, we have a good specialist in front of us. This is not entirely true. If a person answers such questions correctly, most likely you have a good psychic in front of you, i.e. a person with supersensible perception, able to read information from the client about the events that happened to him. However, this does not mean at all that this person has the experience of transforming certain events and can affect reality or save the client from negative energy impact. You can get an answer to it right there, on the site, and in the overwhelming majority of cases the searcher is directed to a charlatan who is in collusion with the authors of the site. As a result, the unlucky seeker loses both money and confidence in specialists in this field. However, there are several signs that can help determine who is in front of you - a specialist or a charlatan. The first thing to pay attention to: a list of conditions under which the magician will agree to do business with you (the most experienced specialists will confine themselves to asking you for a photo, which can determine the essence of the problem - you will only have to clarify the details). Further - the terms of payment (a long-time practicing magician for his services will most likely ask for a rather large amount, which you can transfer either in person or by bank transfer, but hardly in the form of electronic money). It should also be borne in mind that if magicians who are already well versed in their field create a website on the Internet, most often they do not skimp on its decent design, since they do not feel a shortage of money.

There are many positive reviews about good magicians on the Internet. Not necessary. After all, magical assistance is a secret matter, and if a person gets what he wants through the mentioned influence, then most likely he will not advertise it. The best magicians live in the countryside and do not use the benefits of civilization (and even less the Internet). Therefore, you should not look for a good magician on the Internet. True magicians do not consult for free - after all, even during superficial communication, the specialist interacts with the client, the exchange of information that changes the person and the circumstances of his life. Such helper spirits, called familiars, imps or kurdush, are considered quite intelligent creatures, and most often take the form of an animal or bird (black cat, dog, frog or toad, owl, etc.), and in some cases they resemble humans. ... It is also believed that a magician who has placed a particle of his own soul in a familiar can subsequently use this spirit-servant to heal himself and other people, while avoiding soul burnout (ie, a state of "overload" with other people's problems and their own). However, relationships with creatures of this kind are not as simple and pleasant as it might seem at first glance. Firstly, familiars who have received too much power from the magician and at the same time are developing rapidly can easily seize the initiative in relations with their master. This does not lead to a change of roles (that is, the person does not become a familiar), however, the ability to control the connection with a dark assistant, and interrupt it at his own discretion, the magician may lose. Secondly, familiars do not like to stay idle for a long time and cannot, so magicians have to work hard to come up with more and more new activities for their assistants (who execute any, even the most complex, orders very quickly).
